The Fairview & Area Palliative Care Society will be holding the 2026 Festival of Trees from November 16–20, 2026, at the Dunvegan Motor Inn.
Bidding on donated items will be online again this year. Volunteers will be available to help with the bidding process.
Hours of operation will be:
Monday, November 16 to Friday, November 20, 2026
12:00 PM – 9:00 PM daily
Bidding will close on Friday, November 20, 2026 at 9:00 PM.
Successful bidders can pay for and pick up their items on:
Saturday, November 21, 2026
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The children’s draw will be returning and will be available for submissions and bidding by the public.
The Society continues to fund Palliative Care training sessions. There is still a need to replace aging medical equipment and furniture in the Palliative Care suites. We also fund some supplies and equipment not covered by Alberta Health Services.
We are inviting businesses, organizations, and individuals to decorate an artificial Christmas tree, wreath, centrepiece, or Christmas item in the theme of their choice and donate it to the festival.
