Festival of Trees will run November 17th – November 23th, 2024

The Fairview & Area Palliative Care Society will be holding our 29th Annual Festival of Trees from November 17th – November 23th, 2024, at the Dunvegan Motor Inn.

Bidding on donated items will be online this year. Volunteers will be available to help you with this new process. Hours of operation will be from 1:00pm -9:00 pm Monday through Friday. Bidding will close on Friday @ 9.00 pm. This year the children's draw is returning and will be available for submissions and bidding by the public. The Society continues to fund Palliative Care training sessions. There is still a need to replace aging medical equipment and furniture in the Palliative Care suites. We also fund some supplies and equipment not covered by Alberta Health Services.

We are inviting businesses, organizations, and individuals to decorate an artificial Christmas tree, wreath, centre piece or Christmas item in the theme of their choice and donate it to the festival. We request that items be set up on Sunday November 17th between the hours of noon and 9:00 pm. Items will be on public display Monday November 18th through to Friday, November 22nd, from 1pm to 9pm. Successful bidders can pay and pick up their item on Saturday, November 23th, 2024, from 9:00am – 12:00 pm (noon). If you wish to donate an item, there are four (4) ways you can register your item:
